Hi all! I was wondering if anyone could help me! I was on a skype call with one of my friends! Another person called in while I wason the all ready existing skype call! They only stayed for four rings then they hung up. How can I see who called me? I would appreciate any feedback you could give me! Thanks! :)
if you have skype talking it announces incoming calls, and reports the last call event so if you were still in the call with your friend it would show that missed call. as to see who it was, go to the skype events, if using the jaws scripts press control 2 from in the skype window, and it should be the item on the very top. I wouldn't trust this fully however as all skype changes like chats and related show in that list.
To add to that if you set the view to compact you can see the open windows.
Alt+V brings you to the views. Arrow down if you hear default the compact view is set. If it says conpact hit enter to set it.
compact can be helpful but at the same time it can also cause some issues, like i don't think you can close a person't window without losing a skype call.
cool! I was wondering how to check missed calls on skype also... will try these.
I tested that this morning while I was on a call. In the compact view I can close the windows I am talking to someone in and not lose the call or text conversation.
In a call the voice continmues. As far as text when I open the window to continue to text the conversation is still their providing I've not deleted it from the conversations window.
they must have corrected that then as i remember that beign the case before. nice to know
Maybe. Your mileage might vary, but try it. I have done it on 3 computers.
